You aren't in Taipei anymore Toto.

Two weeks ago we did a new 60 day visa run. We went to Okinawa, Japan. It is a 70 minute flight, and quite inexpensive as far as flights go. We had bento boxes with cooked sushi and yummy eggplant salad on the way over. The ocean was beautiful, the mountains quite lush, and everything I saw made me think I should be getting my diving certificate while we are here. We learned a good lesson about travelling in Asia. Don't assume all cash machines will work for you, and don't assume that everywhere on a small island is easy to get to. We should have had a rental car instead of the expensive taxi. Otherwise, they were beautiful. Lots of healthy looking, happy people. The beaches were pleasant and inviting. The swimming pools at the Marriot resort were impressive. I love saki - but I didn't even THINK about ordering it. By the time we leave Taipei, we'll have this international travel thing all figured out.

Once again - no photos printing. I'll try again soon!
